WATER & SEWER LINES


The Public Works Department’s utility crew maintains approximately 37.5 miles of water mains that serve approximately 2,800 Trotwood customers. Services provided include:
• routine system checks
• service shut-off and turn-on
• water sampling for bacteria, lead and copper
• new construction water lines and locating water taps


That crew is also responsible for the maintenance and operation of Trotwood’s 2 lift stations and 30.9 miles of wastewater collection lines. Services provided include:
• flushing and clearing main wastewater collection lines
• preventive maintenance and inspection of lines, lift stations and pumps
