POLICE OVERVIEW


The City's Police Department provides the community with the best law enforcement and public safety services available anywhere. The Police Department is responsible for directing and supervising Trotwood's patrol, anti-crime, criminal investigation, and drug/DUI enforcement functions.

Trotwood's Nationally Accredited Police department includes:
• Police Command Center with 52 personnel
• 23 marked cruisers, 11 unmarked cars, 9 bicycles
• 2 Majors, 8 Sergeants
• 7 Detectives, 16 Evidence Technicians
• 8 Bicycle Officers, 2 Canine Handlers
• 13 Field Training Officers
• 48 Sworn Officers
• Citizens On Preventive Patrol (COPP)
