07.01.09- Federal Jobs Workshop Well Received

In an effort to help address the unemployment situation in Trotwood, Trotwood Mayor Darreyl D. Davis sponsored a free Community Workshop on Federal Jobs on Tuesday, June 30th at the former Moto Photo building in Sycamore Woods. Nearly 75 people from Trotwood and throughout the Miami Valley attended, and many expressed thanks to the City for hosting this valuable and successful event.

Wright-Patterson Air Force Base Human Resources Department employees Alma Greathouse and Lakeisha Reed conducted the Workshop. Everyone there learned much more about the federal jobs application and hiring process and how to get started.

For more information please contact Clerk of Council Lois Singleton at (937) 854-7212 or lsingleton@trotwood.org.
