CountyCorp Offers New Home Improvement Loan
Trotwood residents can now take advantage of a new low-interest home improvement loan program being offered through CountyCorp. This program was developed as CountyCorp’s proactive approach to preventing foreclosures by keeping residents away from high priced finance companies. Features of this new Flex Loan Program include:
• Owner-occupied property only
• 8% fixed interest rate
• $15,000 maximum loan amount
• Up to 7 years to repay
• No restrictions on type of home improvements (must be attached to the property)
• CountyCorp will write the work specifications for the homeowner
• Within CDBG target areas maximum household income is 120% ($72,240 for family of 4)
• Outside CDBG target areas maximum income is 80% ($48,150 for family of 4)
• Higher than maximum incomes considered
If anyone is rejected because of credit, CountyCorp provides assistance in clearing up finances (minimum required point score is 600).
