LEAF COLLECTION

The City’s annual leaf pickup program gets underway each fall, with the community now divided into 4 Leaf Pickup Zones.

Once crews are ready to collect leaves, please remember:
• rake leaves into the street approximately 6 inches away from the curb
• do not bag leaves
• City trucks will not pick up leaves mixed with grass clippings, tree branches or brush
• City trucks will not pick up leaves left underneath, between and around parked cars
• do not rake leaves while City trucks are going by
• delays can be caused by machinery problems and heavy rain periods
• City pickup equipment creates a fine dust around the collection area
