10.02.13- Fire & Rescue Levy Town Hall Meetings

The Trotwood Fire Levy 2013 Committee will be sponsoring four Town Meetings to inform citizens about the critical need for a 4.15 mil levy for Trotwood Fire & Rescue, which will be on the November 5, 2013 ballot. They are urging and inviting all citizens to come to one of these four meetings to learn the facts and why an increase in funding is needed for the operations of this critical community service. The last operation levy requesting an increase for Trotwood Fire & Rescue was in 2003. Since that time, maintenance and equipment costs have escalated to unsustainable levels without an increase in funding.

Trotwood Fire & Rescue has always prided itself on providing excellent service to the community in the form of Fire and EMS services, as well as ancillary services like Fire Prevention, Fire Investigations, Emergency Management, Hazardous Materials Response, Tactical Rescue and Community Service.

The Town Meeting dates are as follows:

  • October 15th from 7 pm – 8 pm at the Church of the Brethren
  • October 17th from 7 pm – 8 pm at Hara Arena
  • October 22nd from 7 pm – 8 pm at Westbrook Elementary
