Life Safety Education

The City’s Life Safety Education program emphasizes the importance of preparing in advance and knowing what to do at the time of any emergency to multiple audiences. This program works with everyone from school age children to neighborhood watch groups to elderly citizens. Topics include:

• fire prevention
• medical emergency protocol
• elderly fall prevention
• home safety and winterizing
• auto, bike, product safety
• fire extinguisher use
