The City’s Fire/EMS Division is looking for good people to join its ranks. When their neighbors need help, they are there. Whether it is fire, EMS or rescue, they are there to answer the call. But they cannot do it alone. The Division is always looking for new part-time members to join its team of professionals, providing they have the following qualifications: Firefighter Level 2; EMT-B and /or EMT-P; or EMT-P. Please stop by and fill out an application to join the City’s team. Prospective applicants must go through a series of pre-employment steps, including:
• Driving record check
• Criminal background check
• Peer and staff interviews
• Physical ability assessment
• Physical and Drug screen upon job offer
