Emergency Medical Services (EMS)

The City’s Emergency Medical Services (EMS) program provides superior emergency medical services to all individuals in or traveling through Trotwood. EMS responds to all emergencies requiring basic and advanced emergency medical services by operating from all 3 stations with full and part time personnel.

To be able to handle any emergency that arises, this program provides:

• 4 ALS Medic Units
• Assistant Fire/EMS Chief
• 3 Battalion Chiefs, 6 Lieutenants
• 12 full time Firefighter/Paramedics
• nearly 80 part time Paramedics
• Police and public education in State-approved EMS, CPR, basic first aid
