PUBLIC CEMETERIES


The Public Works Department is responsible for maintaining and operating two public cemeteries. Among regular duties performed at both Ehrstine and Cedar Hill, Public Works handles:
• seasonal upkeep, including mowing and trimming
• sale of grave plots
• opening and closing of graves
• seeding and restoration of graves
• construction of headstone foundations
