BUILDING ADMINISTRATION

The City’s Building Administrator reviews plans and building specifications for 1, 2 and 3-family homes and additions and conducts inspections of new residential construction including HVAC installation, sheds and gas lines.

The Administrator is also responsible for:
• assisting residents with building code issues
• coordinating the demolition of vacant and blighted structures throughout Trotwood
• managing the City’s Code Enforcement Program
• enforcing the City's Residential Construction Fee Schedule
