Wastewater System
The Public Works’ utility crew is responsible for the maintenance and operation of Trotwood’s 2 lift stations and 30.9 miles of wastewater collection lines. Staff includes a Maintenance Supervisor, a Maintenance Leader and 3 Maintenance Technicians, as well as 2 Mechanics from the Fleet Maintenance Unit. Services provided include:
• flushing and clearing main wastewater collection lines
• preventive maintenance and inspection of lines, lift stations and pumps
