Planning & Zoning
The City’s Division of Planning & Zoning is responsible for the planned growth and development of Trotwood. Staff provides expertise and user-friendly tools to help its business partners and developers with every element of building successful commercial, industrial and residential developments. Its primary duties include:
• reviewing subdivision and development plans
• coordinating zoning and development permit review
• evaluating rezoning petitions
• developing and implementing City’s comprehensive plan
• enforcing Zoning Ordinance, Enterprise Zone, Community Reinvestment Area (CRA)
• coordinating historic preservation initiatives
