01.31.12- Vectrer Conducting Natural Gas Line Survey

Soon Trotwood residents will be seeing Heath Consultants service technicians in their neighborhoods. Vectren has contracted Heath Consultants to accomplish this survey of underground piping and inside piping (for meters inside of residences) in the Trotwood area, in the near future.

This is due to an Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) requirement that all natural gas system operators conduct leak surveys on all gas piping including underground mains, services and exposed piping up to the gas meter outlet.

Although they’ll be driving their private vehicles, these Heath Consultants technicians will be wearing company uniforms and carrying picture IDs that include a Vectren contact phone number.

Inside inspections generally only take about five (5) minutes.
