UTILITY BILLING CLERK


Salary Range
$11.00 - $16.00 per hour depending on qualifications
(approximately 20 hours per week)

Requirements

• HS/GED, post secondary courses in bookkeeping or office administration preferred

• Two years of clerical experience

• Proficient in operating ten key calculator and Microsoft Word and Excel applications, and making mathematical calculations

• Bondable


Essential Functions

Greets office visitors and assists with general information and processing of utility payments

Opens and sorts incoming mail and prepares bulk mailing following office procedure
Operates computer work station, ten key calculator and all office machines
Answers telephone, assisting callers with general information, and transfers calls to appropriate staff members

Nature of Work

The part-time Utility Billing Clerk reports to the Finance Director and is responsible for data entry, clerical, customer service and other work as required and directed for the day-to-day operation of the Trotwood Utility Billing Office.
