11.29.11- Attend Tree Lighting Event on 12/05

Come out and join the holiday festivities this Saturday, December 3rd, from 2-5:00 p.m. at the Olde Town Train Depot (Main & Broadway). That's when Mayor Joyce S. Cameron and the Trotwood City Council will host the City’s annual Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony.

The great community event promises activities for the whole family, with refreshments being provided by the T-M Historical Society. The kids can visit with Santa Claus, or go for Hayrides in a horse-drawn wagon (admission free with a canned good to be donated to the Gerater Works Food Pantry). Community choirs will provide the musical entertainment.

And kids 12 and under can be entered in a drawing that afternoon to help Mayor Cameron light the Christmas Tree at 4:00 p.m.

For more information please contact Administrative Assistant/Deputy Clerk of Council Sandy Riege at (937) 854-7213 or sriege@trotwood.org.
