SPEED & RED LIGHT ENFORCEMENT

The Trotwood Police Department has 12 speed and red light enforcement cameras in place to assist in making our roads safer for travel by the motoring public.

There is also a speed enforcement van that can be utilized as a mobile tool for cutting down on those motorists who do not obey the posted speed limits and laws. The speed enforcement van is an innovative tool for reducing speeding in Trotwood and can be stationed anywhere there is a speeding issue within our boundaries.

Statistically, where enforcement cameras have been employed, accidents have been reduced by one fourth.
