06.08.11- Trotwood Police Get 4-Legged Friend

During the June 6th City Council Meeting Trotwood Police unveiled the newest member of the force, a police dog named Atos. Atos is the second dog to join on the Police Department, and he was acquired through money seized during drug raids.

Having just started working recently, Atos has already recovered some drugs and has been a benefit to not only Trotwood but to other jurisdictions in Montgomery County.

As well as the drug bust Atos has also had three apprehensions in his first three weeks of service, including two burglars and an aggravated robber (please note: neither of the suspects were bitten during their apprehension).
