08.03.10- Attend PRIDE Festival and Parade Sept. 10th & 11th

The City, in partnership with Trotwood-Madison City Schools, local businesses and ministries will be hosting the first ever Trotwood PRIDE Event on Friday, September 10th and 11th. This 2-day event will promote community pride, encourage community support, provide information on all that Trotwood has to offer and be filled with entertainment and fun.

The PRIDE Parade will take place at 5:30 p.m. Friday, September 10th, starting just north of Broadway and Trotwood Blvd. and ending at the Trotwood-Madison High School just prior to the home football game. Those interested in participating please download the PRIDE Parade Application.

The PRIDE Festival will take place from 10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Saturday, September 11th on the grounds of the High School. At Noon Mayor Joyce S. Cameron will present a proclamation and give a brief speech commemorating those who lost their lives on 09.11.01 and honoring those military members defending the nation's freedoms. The mission of the PRIDE Parade and Festival is to lift up and encourage the citizens of Trotwood, especially children and youth by bringing together every major segment of the community to celebrate all that is good about Trotwood, the nation and world.
