11.14.09- 8 Trotwood PP&K Winners Place In 2nd Round
The City congratulates all eight winners of the Trotwood Punt Pass & Kick Competition. Four of the eight placed 1st at the Cincinnati Bengals’ Team Competition held on Sunday, November 8th, while the other four earned 2nd place finishes.Placing 1st in the Bengals’ Team Competition were:
• Marie Gross of Fairborn in the Girls 8-9 age group with a score of 110 feet, 1 inch
• Ashley Trottier of Clayton in the Girls 10-11 age group with a score of 188 feet, 5 inches
• Hollie Morris of Englewood in the Girls 12-13 age group with a score of 277 feet (she previously won the 2007 National Championship in the Girls 10-11 age group)
• Nathan Martin of Dayton in the Boys 14-15 age group with a score of 382 feet, 6 inchesPlacing 2nd in the Bengals’ Team Competition were:
• Alexis Sharp of Minster in the Girls 14-15 age group with a score of 153 feet, 9 inches
• Jack Wehe of Willshire in the Boys 8-9 age group with a score of 171 feet, 10 inches
• Cheyne Carpenter of Monroe in the Boys 10-11 age group with a score of 212 feet, 2 inches
• Dillon Sarka of Lebanon in the boys 12-13 age group with a score of 271 feet, 8 inchesThe first place winner’s scores will be compared to the other first place winners in the other NFL Team Championship sites, and the top four in each age group will advance to the National Championships.
