01.19.12- Moss Creek Town Hall Meeting on 01/31
All Moss Creek Golf Course Community Lot Owners and Homeowners are invited to a Town Hall Meeting at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 31st, at the Trotwood Community Center, 4000 Lake Center Drive. During the meeting a discussion will be held on the following important items:
• Homeowners Association (HOA) Activation Process
• Key HOA Formation Articles
• HOA Nomination Process
• Proposed HOA Budgets
• HOA Financial Impact on Home and Lot Owners
• Issues and concerns
Dear Moss Creek Lot Owners and Homeowners,
We hope most, if not all of you choose to participate in the activation of our existing Homeowners Association (HOA), and its business, i.e. coming to meetings, stepping up to volunteer to become an officer of the association, etc. With your participation, we can maintain the value of our investment and avoid the consequences of our homes value decreasing or even the inability to sell our homes.
As you are aware, the Moss Creek Facelift Committee has held open meetings seeking information on how to best activate the Homeowners Association for Moss Creek (Single Family), Chelsea Villa (Gated Community) and Hickory Glenn (Patio Homes). This was done to ensure the investments each and every one of us made when we purchased our homes would not decrease due to inactivity on our part. You and I know this is the single largest investment most of us make in our lifetime. Why would we not want to protect that investment? Having a well-run HOA with sufficient dues and reserves is part of protecting that investment.
A HOA is created for the purpose of maintaining real estate and enforcing protective covenants. HOAs provide benefits to homeowners by joining together for services that are impractical to procure as an individual homeowner. Maintaining and improving the appearance of our neighborhood includes not only the common areas but each individual home’s appearance.
Come to the meeting, participate and volunteer to take a part in protecting your investment! More important information will be distributed at the 01/31 Town Hall meeting.
