K-9 UNIT

The Trotwood Police Department has two canine units in place within the department. They include Sgt. Brent Rasor and K-9 Officer Bruno, and the newest addition to our unit, Officer Ron Smith and K-9 Officer Atos.

Both K-9 Officers – Bruno and Atos – are Belgian Malinois, especially efficient and apt for employment in law enforcement work. They have the capability to be utilized in either patrol or drug duties and are often called to respond outside Trotwood’s boundaries for multi-jurisdictional response.

For more information please contact Captain John Porter at (937) 854-7203 or jporter@trotwood.org.
