05.28.10- City Offers Home Repair Assistance

The City’s new Emergency Home Repair Assistance program is designed to help residents in need of urgent home repair needs who are currently experiencing serious financial challenges. Thanks to the City's diligent efforts a limited amount of emergency assistance funding is now available.

Eligible Properties

Residential structures located in properly zoned areas

Owner occupied properties
Single-family homes
Condominiums
1-4 family structures (if owner resides in unit needing repair)
Mobile homes not eligible

Examples of Services Provided
Hazardous or malfunctioning heating system (existing system only)
Hot water heaters
Leaking roofs affecting main structure
Exposed electrical wiring
