06.14.11- Attend 'Borrower Day Out' Event 06/24
On Friday, June 24,
from 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m., Helping Hands Community Outreach Center will host ‘Borrower Day Out: a Season for Change’ at Hara Arena, 1001 Shiloh Springs Road. This event is where homeowners can meet with trained advisors who will provide free face-to-face consultations on such matters as Foreclosure Prevention, Loan Modification Assistance, Mortgage Assistance, Money Management, etc.
Helping Hands Community Outreach Center is a HUD certified nonprofit organization serving the Miami Valley with housing counseling services. The organization is committed to helping struggling homeowners who are facing setbacks such as job loss, high interest rates, and foreclosure. With all the school districts across Ohio losing tax revenues from abandoned foreclosed homes, it is vital for such mortgage assistance programs to be made available.
Helping Hands has partnered with the Ohio Housing Finance Agency (OHFA), which administers the Ohio Hardest Hit program and uses the total allocation of $320 million in federal foreclosure prevention funding to help families having trouble making their monthly payments.
Helping Hands helps families save their homes by navigating through the Foreclosure Prevention process, creating an action plan and working with their mortgage companies.
