09.26.11- Attend Harvest Fest '11 on 10/08

This year’s Pioneer Harvest Fest is on Saturday, October 8th from 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. at the Iams Homestead, 349 S. Broadway. This great recurring event sponsored by the Trotwood-Madison Historical Society is free and fun for families and all ages.

Harvest Fest ’11 features an antique farm equipment exhibition, corn-harvesting demonstrations, a pumpkin pie contest, a corn-shelling contest, hayrides, scavenger hunts, homemade chili, hot dogs and other refreshments. Over 30 antique tractors will be on display this year.

The Iams Barn displays will include tobacco drying, old farm equipment and tools. And for those who have never experienced it, the Iams Homestead Museum is full of local and regional exhibits where great stories of Trotwood’s past can be discovered.
