Salary: $11.00 - $17.00 Per Hour DOQ (Part-time)
Nature Of Work
Performs a variety of specialized clerical and technical tasks specific to human resources functions. Confidentiality in all aspects of the work is critical.
Recruiting Requirements
High School Diploma/GED
An Associate degree in HR or other related field desirable
Five years experience in HR and/or comparable office experience high degree of confidentiality
Microsoft Office proficiencyEssential Functions
Maintains personnel and other confidential employee files
Assists in tracking and processing workers’ compensation claims
Assists in the management of employee benefits, enrollments and terminations
Serves as Secretary to the Civil Service Commission preparing minuets, agendas, etc.
Process personnel paperwork regarding step and pay increases, employee transfers, new hires, promotions, and separations
Assists in the recruitment process
Assists in tracking and processing workers’ compensation claims
Assists internal and external customers with HR related questions and issues
