Adopt-A-Roadway Program Growing

The City's Adopt-A-Roadway Program, created by Council to help reduce litter and encourage community pride along designated City thoroughfares, is growing.   Thanks to some of the City's community-minded partners, to date nine organizations have adopted Trotwood roadways, including:
• Salem Bend Condominium Association
• SAVISCO
• Star Touring & Riding Association
• Trotwood Chamber of Commerce
• Trotwood-Madison Historical Society
• Trotwood Rotary Club
• Tech Con Institute
• The Nelson Families
• V.F.W. Post # 4270

This year’s Adopt-A-Roadway cleanup dates are April 12, July 12 and October 11.
In exchange for helping make Trotwood a cleaner place, participants receive:
• signage featuring their name along that roadway section
• help cleaning roadway sections four weekends a year
• safety training, safety vests and trash bags from the City

The program is open to businesses, organizations, and individual families.  Applications are available by downloading the Adopt-A-Roadway Application Form on the right or picking one up at City Hall, 3035 Olive Road.
